General Dentistry & Preventative Care
Patient's anxiety has plagued the dental profession for years. Patient's unbearable fear of the traditional syringe and needle keep many patients away. An advanced technology was created to minimize this stress and make the overall dental experience much more manageable. The Wand is a computer controlled local anesthesia injection system that provides a more comfortable, effective delivery of the anesthesia with no pain. The Wand provides more effective, faster numbing without the usual numbness of the lips, face, and tongue.
The Wand looks nothing like the traditional syringe, which creates a sense of ease within the patient and removes the dental anxiety for a more enjoyable dental experience.
Regular cleanings support the ongoing health of your teeth. You can protect yourself against oral cancer, gum disease, and halitosis by scheduling two to three appointments per year.

Dentures are used when permanent teeth are lost due to decay, periodontal disease, or injury. Dentures are teeth that are manufactured off of a model taken by your dentist and then sent to a lab. Dentures may contain a few teeth or a full arch of teeth.
Partial dentures contain a few teeth. The shade of the denture is matched to the surrounding teeth that will house the partial denture. We offer Flexible Partials which are more comfortable as well as esthetic.
Dentures assist in your ability to speak, chew food as well as your overall appearance. When patients wear their dentures, it gives a fuller appearance to their face and creates a younger appearance in the patient.
Dental implants are metal posts that are surgically placed in the gums. We work with highly skilled Specialists who are extensively trained in Implant placement. As the healing occurs, the bone grows around the implant securing it in place. Then either a replacement tooth or a crown is placed over the tooth to give the appearance of a natural smile. Dental implants are used to replace a permanent tooth that was either lost or was never present. They are the most conservative way of replacing missing teeth.
Conscious sedation is an effective treatment used to ease anxiety and help patients relax during your dental visit. Nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, can be used on patients of any age with few side effects. Nitrous oxide is mixed with oxygen and administered by inhaling through a small mask. The effects of the nitrous oxide wear off once the mask has been removed.
Sealants are plastic materials that are bonded to the biting surface of the premolars and molars. Sealants act as protective barriers against plaque and acids.
Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. In order to save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated, dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function. Having a root canal done on a tooth is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would die and have to be removed. Many patients believe that removing a tooth that has problems is the solution, but what is not realized is that extracting (pulling) a tooth will ultimately be more costly and cause significant problems for adjacent teeth.
Tooth grinding can lead to headaches, cosmetic damage, Changes in bite and TMJ pain and increased tooth sensitivity. Fortunately, treatment is relatively painless.
